Ms. Rose Griffin, 68 of Reddick, FL transitioned into her new life on February 6, 2020. Memories to be forever cherished - Two devoted children: Jesse (Willie Jean) Jenkins of Citra, FL and Misty Jenkins of Reddick, FL. Thirteen loving grandchildren: Jamel (Stephanie) Jessiana Jenkins, Darrin Francis Jr., Zabari Parker, Deja Francis, Jesse Jenkins Jr., Jerard Rhem, Eunia Turner, and Eugene Turner III. Six Great Grandchildren: Machi Jenkins, Jordan Strawder, Devonte Jenkins Jr., Dekayden Jenkins, Judah Jenkins, and Raelynn Freeman. Two loving siblings: Lorenzo (Lillie) Washington Jr. and Starreatha Brooks. A Devoted Aunt who was raised as a sister: Mackie Wilkerson. Brother-in-Laws: Gerome (Sheila) Griffin and Larry Mitchell. Sister-in-laws: Bessie Hunt, Yvonne (Tyrone) Robinson, Ruby Mitchell, Annie Mitchell, Johnnie Ruth Griffin, and Sharon Vickers. Loving Stepchildren: Tiffany (Jimmie) Washington, Lawanda (Terrance) Jones, Daffney Aiken, Christine White, Cleveland (Tina) Griffin, Christopher Griffin, Johnny Coleman, and Darrick Bell. Raised as a daughter: Cynthia "Dee Dee" Whiting and Loved as a son: Eugene Turner Jr. both of Reddick, FL. Three God Children: Marvin (Bertha) McMahon, Monte (Tammie ) Washington, and Larry Andrews. One Loving God Brother: Charlie Howell Sr. She was reunited in death to her husband John Griffin, oldest son Roland Jenkins Sr., grandson Devonte Jenkins Sr., and sister Mable Washington.
The family wishes to invite her family and friends to celebrate a life well lived on February 15, 2020, 2:00pm, Pentecostal Full Gospel Worship Center (5105 North U.S Highway 441 Ocala, Florida). Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 6-8pm at Debose Chapel United Methodist Church (14401 NW 27th Ave. Citra, Fl 32113). Mrs. Rose Final Resting Place will be Mount Memorial Gardens in Reddick, Florida. The family will be asked to assemble at the residence of Mrs. Rose on Saturday, Feb. 15th at 1:00 pm.
