The Flanders family is sadden to announce the passing of Aaron. His family ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2020, 11:00 am. The viewing will take place on April 18, 2020, at Potter’s House, Chiefland, Florida. from 10:00-11:00. Aaron Flanders was born August 24, 1965 to the late Clarence (Jr) and Mary Flanders at Shands Hospital, Gainesville, Florida. “Pitt” as he was known to many will be remembered as a very loving and sensible person. He was a motivator, a go getter and no matter the trails of life, Aaron would always bounce back. His daily drive was to live, love and laugh while consistently trying to remain positive. Aaron loved his family. Family to him was not just an important thing, it was everything and he loved to make the ladies smile. Aaron graduated from Chiefland High School class of 1983. For many years he served as part of the emergency response team after many hurricane disasters and he is known for his eagerness to cook, serve and even clean up after fellowships. “Pitt” was a mover, a shaker, an all-around “let’s get the job done” kind of person. Aaron was the ninth of 12 children. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Flanders Jr and Mother Mary Flanders; siblings Geraldine McClendon, Martha Mack, James Flanders and David Flanders; Uncle Robert Grice. On April 1, 2020 Aaron was called to his eternal rest. Celebrating his memories, he is survived by his daughter Ziana Flanders; son Aaron Flanders Jr; grandchildren, Jacari Glover, Kameryn Flanders, J’yden Flanders, Zynari Flanders, Zyien Mcgee and McKayla Bell; sisters, Missionary Peggy Flanders, Pastor Minnie Hayes (Lance), Darlene Flanders, Latasha Flanders, Fecelia Flanders; brothers Jerry Flanders (Ruthie), Jonathan Flanders (Laverne), Willie (JR) Flanders; brother in law Herman McClendon; Special Friend; Regina Rhoomes; God-sister Linda Bennett; uncles, Robert Flanders (Jackie) and Jimmy Flanders; aunts Minnie Strickland and Gwendolyn Flanders. Special niece Paris Curtis and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 18, at Potter’s House( Chiefland, Fl) from 10:00-11:00am. The family funeral ceremony begins at 11:00. The Committal services will be held at 12:30 following the ceremony,in the Chiefland Community Cemetery.
